I-PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH
The purpose of this research is not to impose any idea or belief or information whatsoever on anyone. The sole purpose of this document, the facebook page, the website etc are to promote the MIRACULOUS PERSONALITY OF AHUL-e-BAIT A.S. named HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. DAUGHTER OF AMER-UL-MOMINEEN HAZRAT ALI A.S. All the information presented in this document is reproduced from different researches and books.
II-SYNOPSIS:
It is very important to mention that we are not scholars. We are ordinary people. We tried to contact a large number of religious authorities for one basic question, “How many children did HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had? None of the authorities were able to confirm it clearly. But they agreed and communicated that a little information is available regarding the said question and it cannot be concluded with significance that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had no children. So this basic question gave rise to two school of thoughts. One claims that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had no children whereas, other school rejects the claim of school one and claims that it’s out of question that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had no children even if there is little or no information available.
As already said we are not scholars so we have presented both school researches in this English version. One school research, which claims that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had no children, is mainly based on the book in Urdu named "Mojeza Mobaraka" written by Mr. Shafqat Hussain Qasmi from Pakistan which describes ‘HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. having no children as a miracle for childless people’ such that they can seek for the fulfillment of their needs through HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. This idea is widely accepted in Pakistan. As per Mr. Qasmi these Miracle (1&2) reached him from the Damascus, Syria and now it has been presented to the people. Second school research, which claims that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had children, is mainly based on the book in Urdu named “HAYYAT TAYYABA SHAHZADI UMME KALSOOM A.S. BINTE ALI A.S. by Mr. Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi from Pakistan, who claims that it’s a wrong propaganda that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had no children. He explains with references in his book that HAZRAT UMME KALSOOM A.S. had children and HER progeny is still alive in the areas of Egypt.
Moreover, We have also included the research from a book provided by the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hussaini Sistani (ظلہ العلیٰ مد ). This book named "A Critical Assessment of Umm Kulthum’s A.S. Marriage to Umar" is around 76 pages in English. In addition to this book a very important address by Martyr Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and responses by two very renowned Shia Schools of Pakistan namely: Madrasa-tul-Qaim A.S. Karachi and Jamia-tul-Muntazir A.S. Lahore are also included. This document is version 1.
